When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something... unexpected happens.
The hot alien living next door marks me.
You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.
If I don't kill him first, that is.
Review:
There has been a lot of buzz around this book. One of my best friends and fellow blogger gave it to me. She said it was steamy.

This book is seriously one of the "hawtest" books I have ever read.
Katy is an average girl (who doesn't know that she is beautiful :/), a book review blogger (<3) whose life changes when her father dies and she has to move to another place where she becomes close friends with her neighbour Dee (adorable. love her!) but Dee's brother is another story.....Katy is brave, sarcastic, quirky and NOT stupid. She is pretty great.
Dee's brother Daemon has to be The Ultimate world class jerk whom every girl loves. Like Katy said and I could not agree more, he falls into the holy trinity of hot boys. If you have hormones, you will love him.
The main reason why this book worked for me is Katy and Daemon's undeniable chemistry and their moments together. Their romance, though hot and cold, is like "butterflies meet stomach". Their conversations rock !!! How can two people think of such kickass things to say to each other, anyway?
This story also includes:
1) Aliens- Well there had to be a reason why Daemon was out of this world (see what I did there!) hot and had freaky abilities. They are beings of light which i thought was interesting. Their home planet was destroyed by beings of shadows and now they are living on Earth and the government knows about them!
2)A plot which does resemble Twilight- I was glad Katy stood on her own feet in front of Daemon so it did not feel that wrong.
3)A kinda confusing end- I did not get EXACTLY what happened. But I guess that's what the sequel is for.
Recommended for lovers of paranomal literature and young adults and hot boys !
